Driving to Datca from Bodrum via Marmaris or visiting the ancient site of Knidos is a long, winding and sometimes mountainous road along the Datca Peninsula. A quicker more convenient way to get to Datca is to go from Bodrum by the summer season ferryboat, which takes just 2.5 hours.

In fact if you're arriving in the region by plane it's much easier and more convenient to fly to Bodrum Airport. The driving distance from Bodrum Airport to Datca is just 40kms, the drive from Dalaman Airport to Datca is around 140Kms.
